Vietnam has loads of National Parks and this was just one, Phong Nha. Home to the largest cave in the world and several others that are just as stunning. Some beautiful views and definitely worth renting a motor if you can to do the full loop of the park.
From the photography point of view I struggled in the caves with my camera and maybe regretted not bringing a tripod along with me. The dark was my enemy and I couldn’t get the camera to focus on Auto Focus or give me the right colours in my shots. If i did get a good shot then it was often blurry.
Nevertheless, it was a learning curve and hopefully i won’t be into too may caves for the trip.
